Her family's subsequent move to the United States would go on to provide her with even more musical exposure living in New Orleans, Louisiana for some time then Dallas, Texas. At home, Gabriella was also exposed to a diverse range of musical influences, from Michael Jackson to Oliver Mtukudzi, enriching her artistic style.

At age nine, Gabriella was actively involved in songwriting, cover videos, pageants, modeling, and auditions. Her love for the stage was evident, and at age 11, she ventured into competitive cheerleading and theater, influenced heavily by her elder sister, one of her greatest inspirations.

Determined to take her music career seriously at 14, Gabriella began recording her first songs, "October's Lost" and "Dyckman," which she released on SoundCloud. Despite the initial lack of widespread recognition, she remained undeterred, continuously seeking opportunities to promote her work. Her dedication was relentless; she often balanced school with long drives to Atlanta for recording sessions, driven by her unwavering commitment to her craft.
